Vanilla

The term vanilla, almost always shortened to nilla, refers to a mafia with no special role beyond that. The term originally referred to a plain villager (or "blue") but now almost always refers to a mafia with no other power than its kill.
Vanilla is, of course, thought of as the plainest flavor among a wide spectrum of flavoring agents available to human beings in different foods, notably ice cream. The connection between roles like the Villager or a basic Mafia member are, therefore, apt.
In current times you will hear "nilla" for the Regular Vanilla Mafia and you will hear the term "Villager/Blue" for the Villager. Please do not be confused. You will most likely hear no one ever say Vanilla.
