For your basic understanding, night choices of "vote" and "choose" are dependent on whether the role ever works together with a role of its own kind. To understand the logic behind it, we can separate all roles with night powers in two categories:

Lone Roles

Lone roles are the roles that will always act alone. Doesn't matter if there are 2 or more of them in the table, they will get separate night meetings. Night meeting of lone roles is You choose. All night meetings will be listed here.

Non-Lone Roles

The "non-lone" roles are the ones that have the same night meeting, when there are more than 1 of that role in the game. Also, mafia's kill vote counts as "non-lone", but you can notice that their own powers are counted as lone roles. Non-lone roles have "You vote" in their meetings.
