Abilities
May choose one member of the mafia to act upon. This player will show up as innocent on Cop investigations for that night.
Strategies and Tactics
- If there is no Cop in the game, then the lawyer is useless and should probably not choose to visit anyone.
- If there is a Tracker or Watcher in the game, be cautious when choosing whom to visit, for you may get caught.
- A Lawyer has somewhat an opposite function as a Framer. The town needs to figure out if a Cop's report is telling the truth or just a trick by the Lawyer.
- The Lawyer cannot use his power on himself, and only has the option to visit other mafia members.
- A much easier way to tell you who to protect at night is to list them, in order of highest priority to lowest: Yakuza, Driver, Stalker, Hooker, Interceptor, Witch, Spy. The rest can be targeted if they're all that's left, and they can be done in any order you like.
- Do not lawyer Godfathers or a disguised Disguiser.
History
- Originally the Lawyer was the only mafia-sided role with the ability to use his power on himself. This ability has since been taken away.
