Follow the Cop
The phrase "follow the Cop" essentially stands for any setup or method of playing where the strategy is based in using a Cop (or similar investigative role) to uncover the mafia with their night actions, while the Villagers obediently follow the Cop's orders. This is usually the case in setups with little to no interference from many other Power Roles or Third party roles.
Stigma
Referring to a game or style of play in this fashion is almost always said derogatorily, as some find games with a heavy reliance on one person to be uninvolved and perhaps mentally diminutive. Counterarguments tend to emphasize the importance of an investigative role, citing chaos and the general bandwagonning that seems to proliferate with the result of a lack of one.
