Great Epic Mafia Strategy: Thekudomethod.weebly.com

   This site has great tips for any player. Most players at silver lobby rank will know all of these tips, but for anyone else

this can be a huge help. Not for first timers, better if you have played epic mafia for at least 3 or 4 games, or have played the original mafia in real life. Also has some nice music to listen to while you play. But don't get me wrong, no matter how good you are, you should check it out, and leave some comments.

Templates & Setups & Bot

A couple of things:

• You can delete any Templates I made on 12/12 and 12/13. I was trying to copy mafiascum's "userbox" they have, but can't figure it out
• I've been thinking about starting to add all of the setups. It will take some work, but will be fun. Any ideas?

  • You're okay with a bot? I'll do some research and see if there's a way to have it automatically keep all the setups up-to-date
    • OK. I've started some prelim work and have all I need. I attempted to use the bot to retrieve setup info for Setup #163. However, you have to be logged in to retrieve the info. Because of that, the bot can't gain access. Any ideas? --yawetag 06:19, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

      • What are you using to program the bot with? You should be able to automate logins for the bot, using libcurl and javascript injection. Also, talk to p1 (playerone), because I am pretty sure he was able to get libcurl working for his faker program. --Grace 22:27, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
        • PHP. I'll check libcurl and see what I can do. I also don't want to flood the site with numerous "Give me the setup info!" requests, so I'll be adding a 10-second delay between each request.

I am unable to create an account on epicmafia.com/home. I keep getting the error message "You must enter the same password as above!" when i clearly type the same password. I have not created any accounts previously. --arfenhouse 6/16/11

Template Request

Role image naming convention

Because of the interest setup pages, a new role template has been created (Template:Role) to readily/consistently express multiple images. This template requires all role images to have a consistent naming convention, which it previously lacked. Images for roles now need to be named "Rolename.png" -- and no abbreviations (eg, "Yak.png"). I'm in the process of reuploading all of the old files and updating references to them, so some of them will be temporarily broken. --Grace 20:02, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

Game Variations templete?

Things we need to add

Passworded games, Favorite setups, expanding putting more established setups in the wiki (e.g. discordia, setups with hundreds of plays) - RC

Shrink needs to be cleaned up some, I would do it but for some reason the Shrink page is locked? - RC
