There are many characters to play as in EpicMafia. The role you are given at the start of a game is completely random.

[edit] Villager
- Wins if all mafia/cults are dead.
[edit] Miller
- Appears guilty upon investigation.
- When lynched, appears to be mafia.
- When killed, appears to be miller.
[edit] Doctor
- Protects one person from being killed every night.
- Sided with the village.
[edit] Mason
- Can recruit each night.
- If recruiting villager, villager becomes mason.
- If recruiting mafia or killer, all masons die.
- Sided with the village.
[edit] Vigilante
- A dirty cop who kills one person every night.
- Sided with the village.
[edit] Bodyguard
- Can choose to guard one person at night.
- If somebody tries to kill that person...
- 50% chance the bodyguard will kill the attacker.
- 50% chance the bodyguard will die in place of the target.
- Sided with the village.
[edit] Bulletproof
- Can survive one night kill (or Hunter's shot).
- This does not apply to lynching
- Sided with the village.
[edit] Cop
- Investigates one person every night.
- Sided with the village.
[edit] Insane Cop
- Investigates one person every night.
- Mafia will appear innocent.
- Villagers will appear guilty.
- Upon death, will appear to be normal cop.
- Sided with the village.

- Investigates one person every night.
- Everyone will always appear guilty.
- Upon death, will appear to be normal cop.
- Sided with the village.
[edit] Naive Cop
- Investigates one person every night.
- Everyone will always appear innocent.
- Upon death, will appear to be normal cop.
- Sided with the village.
[edit] Hunter
- Shoots one person if ever lynched.
- Sided with the village.

- Chooses one person at night.
- That person cannot be converted that night.
- Sided with the village.
[edit] Watcher
- Chooses one person to watch every night.
- Will know who visited that person that night.
- Sided with the village.
[edit] Tracker
- Chooses one person to follow every night.
- Will know who that person visited that night.
- Sided with the village.
[edit] Jailer
- If no lynching, chooses one target at the end of the day.
- The target will be jailed at night.
- The target will be immune to night actions.
- The target cannot do any action.
- The jailer and the target can converse at night.
- The target does not know who the jailer is.
- Sided with the village.

- Only needs one vote to be lynched
- Other properties are the same as a villager

- If ever killed, votes will be anonymous for a day.
- Sided with the village.
[edit] Granny
- Also known as the paranoid gun owner!
- Will shoot anyone who visits her during the night.
- Cannot die during the night.
- Sided with the village.
[edit] Agent
- Can send anonymous messages to any role.
- Cannot send messages to roles aligned with village.
- Sided with the village.
[edit] Bomb
- Anyone who kills him/her will be blown up.
- Will not explode if lynched.
- Sided with the village.
[edit] Lightkeeper
- If killed, town will be engulfed in darkness during next day.
- Players cannot see who is talking.
- Players cannot see who voted who.
- Sided with the village.

- Kills a villager every night.
- Wins if they outnumber villagers during the day.
[edit] Godfather
- Appears innocent to cops.
- Sided with the mafia.
[edit] Hooker
- Kisses one person every night.
- Vigilantes will fail to kill.
- Doctors will fail to protect.
- Cop will fail to investigate (if working alone).
- Masons will fail to recruit (if working alone).
- Watchers will fail to watch (if working alone).
- Trackers will fail to track (if working alone).
- Killers will not kill.
- Sided with the mafia.
[edit] Janitor
- Can choose one person at night.
- If that person dies, only the janitor will know his/her role.
- Can only clean up one body per game.
- Sided with the mafia.
[edit] Spy
- Can send anonymous messages to any role.
- Sided with the mafia.
[edit] Disguiser
- Picks one person each night.
- If the picked person dies during that night, the disguiser will steal that person's identity.
- The disguiser can only disguise once per game.
- Sided with the mafia.

- Frames one person every night.
- For that night, the target will appear guilty to cops.
- Sided with the mafia.
[edit] Driver
- Can choose two people at night.
- Any actions done on those two people at night will be swapped.
- Driver cannot drive another power role to a target not in their list.
- You cannot swap someone with no one.
- Sided with the mafia.
[edit] Lawyer
- Can choose one mafia every night.
- That mafia will appear innocent if investigated.
- Sided with the mafia.
[edit] Silencer
- Chooses one person every night.
- The targetted cannot talk during day.
[edit] Stalker
- Chooses one person at night.
- Will know that person's role in the morning.
- Sided with the mafia.
[edit] Yakuza
- Can sacrifice self to convert somebody to mafia.
- Sided with the mafia.
[edit] Traitor
- Does not participate in mafia meetings.
- Appears as a villager.
- Only wins if mafia wins.
[edit] Interceptor
- Follows one person each night.
- Kills only one of whoever visits the same person.
- Anyone else who visits the same person finds out the identity of the interceptor.
- Sided with the mafia.
[edit] Witch
- Places a curse on a person each night.
- That person will die if visited by a person not sided with the mafia that night.
- Sided with the mafia.
[edit] Third-Party Roles
[edit] Survivor
- A survivor wins if he is surviving at the end of a game
- Wins 50 points and halves everybody else's points
[edit] Cultist
- Can choose someone at night to recruit into the cult.
- Any cult member visited by mason at night will die.
- If the cult leader is killed, all cult members will die.
- Wins if cultists outnumber everyone during the day.
[edit] Fool
- Secretly wants to get lynched.
- Can visit one person at night for fun.
[edit] Killer
- Kills once every night.
- Wins if last one standing.
[edit] Warlock
- Each night chooses one person.
- If that person is chosen by the village, the warlock has predicted correctly.
- The warlock wins if he/she predicts correctly two times.
Their night choice does not count as a visit, and thus will not show up on tracker reports or trigger the granny.
[edit] Lyncher
- Wins if an irritating townie is lynched.
[edit] Amnesiac
- Can choose one person in the graveyard at night.
- Becomes that person's role in the game.
[edit] Politician
- Vote counts twice during the day.
- Switches randomly between village and mafia sided every 2 days.
