Kicking Inactive Players
Kicking Inactive Players
AFK means "Away from Keyboard". As EpicMafia is a real-time game, staying away from keyboard (going AFK) is considered as an extremely annoying and irritating act by a player. Another popular term for someone who AFKs is "Veggie" or "Vegetable".

If a player is turned into a vegetable, they will lose one heart and 50 points, even if the game remains ranked. The game remains ranked if that individual was being lynched when they are kicked (unless they are the hunter).

[edit] System Messages

If a player has not voted during the day or performed his or her action at night before time expires, a "Kick inactive players (#)" link will appear in the place of the timer. The number # that initially appears is the number of people to reach one-third of the no. of people alive or more (for instance, in a game with 8 living players, it will be 3, and in a game with 3 living players, it will be 1.).

In general the formula is ceiling((1/3)*(no_of_players_alive))

Each time a new player presses the link, it will be decremented. This message will appear at the end of the page for that night or day:

(player1) turned into a vegetable!
